Philanthropist and event chair Jean Shafiroff hosted a launch party in honor of the 13th annual Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF) Unconditional Love Gala. Around 200 people attended the launch party which took place at the Southampton History Museum.

The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation’s 13th Annual Unconditional Love Gala returns to the Hamptons this summer of 2022.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at an exclusive Gin Lane venue in Southampton, NY.

The big evening is the highlight of this summer season in the East. Chaired by Jean Shafiroff, the event will honor William Bratton, former New York City Police Commissioner and Jonathan McCann, founding chairman of SASF.

The honorary president will be Georgina Bloomberg. The annual event is the largest fundraiser for the shelter in over a decade.

The fun gala will include cocktails and a delicious seated dinner, as well as dancing. Plus, a live, silent auction will help raise much-needed funds for the animals.

Proceeds from this event directly support the more than 5,000 animals that come into their homes each year.

The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is supported exclusively by community donations and grants.

From caring for and finding homes for stray and abandoned animals to providing low-cost veterinary care and training dogs so animals can stay in their homes, the shelter has become a vital resource. in our community.

Jean Shafiroff is a philanthropist, humanitarian, television host, writer and author of the book “Successful Philanthropy: How to Make a Life By What You Give”. Jean is often referred to as the “first lady of philanthropy” by the press because of her generosity and her extensive work as a volunteer fundraiser and leader in the world of philanthropy.
