Second Chance Animal Rescue has 3 pets for adoption in Southampton

For more than 30 years, a Southampton-based charity has rescued animals and found them forever homes – could you be the next person to adopt a pet?

Second Chance Animal Rescue at Mansbridge Road is a small rescue that takes care of dogs, cats, small animals and wildlife.

The dedicated team of volunteers provide a wide variety of services to animals in need, from hand-breeding orphaned animals and, in the case of wild animals, their release into the wild, to vaccination. and microchip animals for placement, as well as the treatment of any illness or injury.

If you’ve decided to give a pet a forever home, here are some of the furry and feathered friends looking for a place to live this week.

Raise: Saluki x Greyhound

Age: 2 years

Mac came to the rescue as he was “too much of a dog” for the family and had a huge number of prey.

He will need an experienced greyhound / lurcher house with no other male dogs, cats or small animals and a large, fully fenced yard.

He is an adorable neutered boy who practices yoga and patiently awaits his new home.
